This one sounds a lot thinner than it would with the vocals in place. The vocals are hard, staccato phrases that kinda counterpoint the verse. The vocals would begin right after the part where the sample says "Come on!" After the guitar verse thing ends, another sample plays that sounds like a siren. That's where the lyric "cold," which echoes away, comes in. Next is a quieter part with what sounds like chopped up samples of people talking. That's where the chorus goes, though (as with "Family Fun") the melody stuff isn't there yet. That's just the basic rhythm for the chorus -- I actually hear the chorus as a funky dance kinda riff... Like if James Brown tried to swing...

This one came from frustration at the fact that life is a series of possibilities (which we may only have one shot at), and yet we're constantly being beaten into a certain shape by society... I felt like I was bein' bound and gagged, as well as pasteurized... Also, I was noticing that a lot of what was keeping me separate from the things I wanted to do was in myself... So, there were a number of issues I was delving into... As usual, though, the lyrics come out goofier than anticipated... But, what're ya gonna do..?
